Since opening its doors five years ago, Cuddy'z has become one of the 'go-to' places for relaxation with friends and family. The sports bar, owned by Ambassador Courtney Walsh, caters mainly to sports enthusiasts and is a favourite hang-out for sports enthusiasts who also love good food.

With over 40 television sets and a giant screens for your viewing pleasure, the sports bar is usually packed when national and international sporting events are being aired.

Cuddy'z features good food, live sports events and exotic drinks; all of which makes one take notice of this exciting place. Decorated with interesting sporting memorabilia, it provides an educational and historic experience for patrons, who can browse the walls and learn while they dine.

Cuddy'z is a welcome addition to the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week for its uniquely designed dishes that reflect the sporting influences.

With names such as 9.69, a burger meal aptly named after Jamaican track sensation Usain Bolt for his record-breaking 100- metre run at the Beijing Olympics, you can relive the experience of your favourite sport with every bite.

From November 7-14, diners will be able to experience all that Cuddy'z has to offer, not to mention delicious and appetising food.

"We expect to have many people coming out, enjoying the food and having a good dining experience," says Jeanelle Waddell, restaurant manager.
