Margaritaville Ocho Rios - First the fun, now the food

Published: Thursday | October 22, 2009

Already known for its offerings of parties and fun times since it opened in February 2002, Margaritaville Ocho Rios will participate in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week to show off its culinary repertoire of local and international dishes.

Located on the beach at Island Village shopping and entertainment complex, Margaritaville is mere metres from the Ocho Rios cruise ship pier, providing day and night fun for all who wish to participate.

During the week of November 7-14, patrons will get the chance to satisfy their craving as Margaritaville's chefs will serve up some of the most mouth-watering dishes.

"We offer a wide range of food and beverages that include local and international cuisine," says assistant manager Chris Jagaroo.

Volcano nachos

A favourite of many is the volcano nachos prepared from crispy tortilla chips, piled high in a sizzling platter with black olives, scallions, tomatoes, melted cheeses, sour creams and salsa.

So Monday night when guests from nearby hotels claim the venue as their own, as well as at Wednesday and Thursday nights' activities, patrons will be able to enjoy volcano nachos and many other mouth-watering goodies that are available for Restaurant Week.

The menus for Margaritaville Montego Bay and Ocho Rios are similar and patrons are encouraged to come out to enjoy the combination of fun and food at both locations. Only Margaritaville guarantees total satisfaction.
