Annotto Bay High School made it a hat-trick of wins in the 2009 ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup yesterday afternoon when a double strike by Oshane Dunkley gave them a 2-0 win against St Mary High in their Zone K fixture at Westmoreland Oval in St Mary.

By virtue of their win Annotto Bay, which entered the game locked atop the standings on six points with St Mary Technical, are now sole leaders with maximum nine points. St Mary Technical were idle yesterday.

"I thought we played well although there is still room for improvement," said Orville Richards, the technical director of the Annotto Bay team. "We will be going back to the drawing board as we are looking to be a lot sharper in our game against Islington on Saturday."

Over in Zone J, former champions Dinthill Technical came up victorious in their top-of-the-table clash against Bog Walk, clipping them 2-1 behind a double strike by Tevin Skyers. The win has lifted Dinthill to 13 points while Bog Walk remain second in the standings on nine points.

In another Zone J game, Tacky High recorded their first win of the season, surprising fellow struggler Glengoffe 3-2 in their matchup at Tacky. The win moves Tacky to four points while McGrath remain with the solitary point they got from their opening game 2-2 draw with Dinthill.
