This multicoloured, loose-fitting top with a pair of jeans is ideal for a hot summer day out.

Many people are of the opinion that once a woman is pregnant she should wear big, dowdy dresses three sizes too large. But that was so last century. These days, pregnant women can look just as hip and hot as everyone else.

For years, maternity wear was seen as frumpy attire. Back in the days the most common maternity style was a pinafore dress, which is a sleeveless garment worn as an apron pinned to a loose dress without much style.

However, since the '90s, celebrity moms have certainly created a change in the maternity fashion industry. Now there are many fashionable outfits that cater to pregnant women during every trimester.

Today the empire-waist dresses, bubble dresses, peasant tops and even trendy jeans and comfortable loafers have hit the market and now pregnant women can walk out looking like a million dollars. So, no more frumpy dresses; now we say welcome to the fashionable world of maternity wear.
