All St Catherine showdown

Champions Eltham High will meet Innswood High in the final of the urban area ISSA Jamaica International Insurance Company (JIIC) Knockout, formerly the Tappin Cup, at Melbourne Oval today.

The two, which will also contest the final of the Grace Shield league championship, qualified for today's showdown after defeating Excelsior High and St Catherine High in semi-final action earlier this week.

For today's encounter Eltham, which have dominated urban area cricket since their entry in 2001, will look towards national Under-19 left-arm pacer Romeo Dunca, batsman Joseph Dennie and all-rounder Romeo Parker as they go in search of their fourth straight hold on the title.

Innswood, which started competing in urban area cricket five years ago, and won the division two Grace Shield "A" League last year, will, in the meantime, look to captain and opening batsman Oraine Williams, batsmen Denfey Salmon and Kemar Foster and pace bowler Dwayne Pusey for inspiration.
