Coach of Waterhouse, Paul Young, expressed satisfaction with their 2-0 win over Tivoli Gardens at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex on Wednesday.

"We stuck to the game plan. We came out patient, got a goal, didn't give up one," coach Young reflected.

He added: "This is our first road win (of the round) and I'm really proud of the team. Defensively, I thought we were solid, (Tivoli's) Roland Dean and Novian Boyd are two good strikers, we matched up with them well and we managed to contain them and, in midfield, Damion Williams and Kenardo Forbes were exceptional, and the strikers really worked hard."

Midfielders Damion Williams (34th) and Kenardo Forbes (65th) scored for Waterhouse.

The win pushed the Drewsland men into fifth position on 40 points, a point ahead of St Georges, and five points off Tivoli's fourth-place tally (45).

This is a phenomenal result for Waterhouse, coming into Tivoli's backyard and wrestling three points away from them.

Young, a former national representative, has done a good job at Waterhouse since taking over the reins in January. Waterhouse drew 0-0 with Portmore in Young's first match as head coach and stunned Boys' Town 6-2 in another match. During this period Waterhouse have moved from sixth to fifth and accumulated 17 points in 10 games after having only 23 points from the first 18 games.

For Tivoli's coach Lenworth 'Teacher' Hyde, it was a difficult pill to swallow.

"I'm disappointed we gave up two goals that we shouldn't have ... we created some chances that we didn't put away and Waterhouse scored their chances."

He added: "It is a tough loss for us, we just have to bounce back for our next game."
