After introducing his Courtney Washington Collection at Fashionweek in June, this year, the high-fashion designer whose creations have graced leading celebrities and personalities around the globe, will, by popular demand, on Sunday, December 6, showcase the line at Revolution Gallery, located at 44 Lady Musgrave Road, (corner of Fairway Avenue) New Kingston, just in time for Christmas.

Hailed in fashion magazines and fashion editorials all over, The Courtney Washington Collection, is representative of the modern lifestyle, and is clothing that was conceived and created for the everyday sophisticated modern woman. The designs are often described as functional, in keeping with the busy schedules of today's woman, who moves from the office to cocktails and to travelling, with consummate ease.

To top it all, Washington's clothing line is fun, functional and versatile.

Men's fashion tips

Men are no longer satisfied with looking ordinary. The way you dress, and body language, can be what's standing between you and attracting your ultimate dream girl. With more men placing emphasis on grooming and looking suave, you can't afford to be left behind.

Don'ts

Wife-beaters (tank tops) as outerwear - this was a fluke not intended to be the norm.

Baggy pants - these weren't even flattering when they were in fashion.

White tube socks are never to be worn with gentlemen's shoes. That look went out in the '80s.

No baseball caps, sweats and jerseys unless you are headed to the field, or just hanging with guys. These have no place on a date.

Avoid loud logos from head to toe; you are not a walking billboard.

Way too much bling - this is actually not impressive and looks rather tacky.

When selecting a suit for formal attire, avoid the big, built-up shoulder. There's the perception that it makes you look bigger and more studly, but it usually just makes your head and neck look smaller.

Dos

Khaki, handkerchief linen. Switch up the jeans routine with some different fabrics.

Black and brown leather shoes are to be a staple.

At least one classy sandal to jazz up jeans and shirt for a more polished casually-elegant look.

Button-up long-sleeve shirts are a great look.

A suit rarely fits perfectly right off the rack. Expect to have it tailored. So if you need it for a particular event, buy it a month ahead.

Experiment with colours; if you are really a macho guy pink will not take from your masculinity.

Avoid tucking in shirts (except for formal occasions) especially if you have a big belly.

Skillfully selected fabrics which are textured, printed and the right weight, may also help disguise that beer belly.

Washington's clothing is fun, functional and versatile.
