Fine food and fine service are what the public can expect when they visit Spanish Court Café during the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week from November 7-14.

The café, located at the Spanish Court Hotel in New Kingston, has been in operation for about eight months. The restaurant's cuisine is a mixture of international and Caribbean and features a range dishes including sushi, pasta and local favourites such as jerked chicken.

The restaurant also has speciality dishes, created by fusing international recipes with local ingredients, such as Jamaki which is a sushi roll made with ackee and smoked marlin. Another speciality dish is its unique take on a spring roll which comprises ackee and callaloo. "Our food is fantastic. We have world-class dining and the finest staff," Veronica Grant, food and beverage manager at the café, said.

Fine service and fine food
