The profile of the Jamaican night scene was elevated in December 2008 when Fiction opened inside the Market Place on Constant Spring Road. The First-World hybrid lounge and nightclub has become a preferred space for enjoying the musings of local and international DJs in a truly premium setting.
Though many are familiar with Fiction as a trendy nightspot, "a lot of people do not know that we serve food," explains Fiction director Ard Jarrett. With its participation in the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week, Fiction will introduce more patrons to dining, which promises to be as refined as their club offerings. Their impressive menu of international cuisine, designed by celebrated Jamaican chef Sara Mair, represents the finer taste of finger food, with easy-to-eat, lounge-chic options served in decent proportions.
Sophisticated atmosphere
The after-hours business client will enjoy the mature and sophisticated atmosphere that the Johnnie Walker Room inside Fiction Lounge offers. There, guests can also enjoy high-speed Internet access while delving into Fiction menu favourites such as spicy shrimp balls and their mini-burger platter dubbed the Slideaway.
Additionally, Fiction stocks some of the world's finest cognac and champagne, as well as an impressive selection of wines. This coupled with their dynamic menu, presents Fiction as an exciting locale to take your taste buds this Restaurant Week and thereafter.
