Manchester tourney serves off this morning

The 2009 two-day Manchester Table Tennis Association Championships begins today at Manchester High School, with registration and collection of entry fees starting 9 a.m.

The competition will begin with play in the Under-13 boys and girls singles at 9:30 a.m. This will be followed by the Under-18 boys and girls' singles matches at 10 a.m. The Under-15 boys and girls matches will start at 11 a.m. and this will followed by the Under-21 male singles at noon.

The afternoon session is set to serve off at 1 p.m. with men's singles matches, to be followed by the women's over-40 singles at 3 p.m.

The final set of matches are set to begin at 5 p.m. with the over-50 singles and parents' doubles.

Tomorrow action is set to start at 9:30 a.m. with play in the Under-10 boys and girls singles matches. This will be followed by the Under-15 boys and girls singles at 10 a.m, then the boys and girls Under-13 matches at 10:30 p.m. and the Under-18 boys and girls singles at 11 a.m.
