Berlin, Germany (JIS):

World Championships silver medallist Kerron Stewart says Jamaica will deliver a special performance in the women's 4x100 metres relay on Saturday.

She said the members of the team recognised that they have to make up for the Olympic Games in Beijing last year when they dropped the baton. They are focused on delivering a result that will post another huge smile on Jamaican faces.

Stewart said she left "everything" on the track and was happy for teammate Shelly-Ann Fraser's win.

Jamaica's technical leader in Berlin, Donald Quarrie, said the final composition of the team had not yet been decided. He said he was sure, however, that any combination fielded would not only win gold but set a new world record.
