Windward Islands leg-spinner Rawle Lewis and batsman Andre Fletcher will make their debut in the second annual Jamaica Super Cricket League competition this weekend.

The men from the spice isle of Grenada, who missed last weekend's start of the two-day championship due to problems with their cricket luggage, will seek to add substance to their respective teams, the Kingston Tigers and Westmoreland Wanderers, who at present sit at different ends of the table.

The Tigers, who were led to first-innings honours over Manchester Lions last week on a fine century from wicketkeeper/ batsman Chadwick Walton, and five-wicket hauls from Barbadian seamer Ashley Nurse and left-arm spinner, Paul Harrison, will travel to Chedwin Park to face defending champions St Catherine Saints, who despite having national representatives Tamar Lambert, Danza Hyatt, Gavin Wallace, Odean Brown and Andre Russell, lost first innings to Melbourne Kanagaroos.

The Wanderers, who surrendered first-innings honours to the Melbourne Kangaroos last week, will seek to rebound against Manchester Lions with Zeniffe Fowler, Donovan Sinclair and Maurice Kepple, who they will entertain at St Elizabeth Technical High School.

In other matches, Trelawny Buccaneers, with first-round centurion, Barbadian Ryan Hinds and Lorenzo Ingram in their line-up, will host newcomers Hanover Dolphins at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.

The Kangaroos, with another first-round centurion, Donovan Pagon and Carlton Baugh Jr, will welcome Brenton Parchment's St Elizabeth Warriors at Courtney Walsh Drive.

The championship, which will be contested over seven rounds, is scheduled to end in early June.

All matches are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
