EDITORIAL - Playing along with education
It is instructive that all of three stories in yesterday's publication made the connection between school and play, at three levels of the education system.

The Editor, Sir: Many people do not understand why Christian people and Christ's Church are so opposed to abortion. Here is the basic reason: God's word teaches us that the lives of all men, women and children are sacred because they are created by God, stamped individually with His God-image.

Issue: 'Out of many ... ' motto is challenged

The Gleaner's Thursday, July 3 editorial 'The danger of appeasement' mourning the lack of authority exhibited by the Government is 300 years late. The fact is Jamaica has always been two distinct societies as the Maroons never accepted British authority or culture.
