F1 extravaganza comes to Jamaica
Many would not have believed it possible. But it has come to pass. A Formula One (F1) vehicle has finally graced the shores of the jewel of the Caribbean. And it is the man in the street who is responsible, because only four countries worldwide have a higher per capita consumption rate of a certain globally marketed energy drink.

Navara and the Lydford Quarry

Last week, we hit the Lydford mines in a pair of 'trail-ready' vehicles, the Nissan Navara and X-TRAIL, your intrepid reporters (myself and the indomitable Shelly McLaggan from Power 106, along with the Herald's Wheels Editor, Rory Daley) having been fêted for a weekend to try these new vehicles.

Is an oil change that important?

LET THE engine idle and watch the exhaust pipe. If you spot blue smoke, look elsewhere, because the engine is burning oil. Are oil changes really that important?

Taking motorsport to another level

Chairman of Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC), Errol Anderson, says he has plans to take motorsport in Jamaica to another level. "This year, we intend to work closer with the Government, hoping to sell the sport as a tourism product," says Anderson, who was recently re-elected as chairman of the JMMC.

Auto Blotters - Launch of 2008 BMW 135i coupe

STEWART'S MOTORS of Jamaica, the exclusive dealers of BMW, had the launch of the 2008 BMW 135i coupe at the NCB Atrium in New Kingston on April 25. The car is a 6sp 3.0-litre twin turbo inline 6cyl pushing out 306hp, a first for BMW.
