The Editor, Sir: For a second, I thought I had managed to inadvertently source The Gleaner's Archives dating back to something written in 1955, when I read Dr. Wendel Abel's piece, "I am What I think - When Your Child Becomes a Rasta".
Searching for family
The Editor, Sir: A baby boy was left in the street at 64 Henderson Avenue in St. Andrew in 1970. He was found and named John Brown by Children Services. They estimated his age to be about 18 months and he was then taken to the Maxfield Park Children's Home.
