KINGSTON, Jamaica:
Javon Francis will open his 2015 season at the Digicel Grandprix event, the Camperdown Classics today inside the National Stadium.

Francis is billed to run in the 400M race.

He will be aiming to dip below the 45 second mark, ahead of the IAAF World Championships this Summer in Beijing.

Francis set the world alight at the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow, anchoring the Jamaican 4x400M relay team to a silver medal finish.

He then smashed Usain Bolt's Boys Champs Class 1 400M record of 45:43 in 2014 clocking 45 seconds flat.
