It has remained over the years, the leading non-alcoholic beverage in Jamaica, but Pepsi Cola is nowhere near complacency. Last Sunday, customers, business partners, associates and staff of Pepsi Cola Jamaica converged at New Kingston's Pure Plush Lounge for the launch of the brand's latest look.

Upon arrival guests were greeted by Pepsi Cola hostesses for the scheduled 6 p.m. start, but the majority of guests arrived closer to 7 p.m. With an abundance of drinks and finger foods throughout the night, guests were kept entertained by the musical selection of rhythm and blues hits as they mixed and mingled.

Since the purpose of the night was to introduce the new look of Pepsi, there were some formalities to be taken care of. And for this, guests made their way upstairs to the nightclub. With a stage set-up, eyes were fixed in that direction where emcee Miss Kitty took charge of the proceedings.

Marketing Manager Denise Reid, in her presentation, said the new-look of Pepsi which involves the changing of the logo is part of the company's commitment to remain vibrant and was geared at the new generation. According to her, the look connects more with customers, especially youths.

In a short, but well-packaged programme, the entertainment included performances by the high-energy group, Dance Fit, which took guests on a journey of Pepsi through music and dance.

There were acts from songbird Alaine and the talented deejay Assassin. Both connected with the guests, to the point of earning themselves back-up singers and dancers from among the guests.

The launch certainly hit home with guests in bringing out a positive energy and vibe with Pepsi behind of it all. Guests were invited to stay behind to indulge in some more of the fun, drinks and music.
