Retired army captain and Justice of the Peace, Rudolph Jobson, was one of three Justices honoured by the St Ann Justices of the Peace Association at its annual awards banquet Saturday night at Hibiscus Lodge hotel in Ocho Rios, St Ann.

The other awardees were Ferdinand Johnson and Sang Miller, who have served for 17 and 18 years respectively.

The St Ann JP Association, which is the oldest such organisation in Jamaica, will be celebrating its 25th year in 2010 and, according to chairman, B. Anthony Carr, several events are planned to commemorate the event. The association has 328 members.
