Q: I am invited to a cocktail party, what do I wear?

My suggestion is a knee length dress in a lightweight fabric, no chunky jewellery, please! A dressy pant is also an option, worn with a silk or chiffon blouse; with this you may add a bold necklace or conversational piece.

I do not drink alcohol, but I want to order something other than Pepsi or fruit juice.

There are several non-alcoholic drinks to choose from, an example, club soda with a dash of Angostura bitters and a cherry, in a wine glass, of course.

I have a job interview and I want to look good, but I do not wear make-up, what do I do?

Generally, one does not pile on the cosmetics for a job interview. However, you will want to look polished. Your skin and hair have to be clean, your eyebrows and nails groomed and just add a touch of blush, a little mascara and lip gloss and you are good to go!
