Lime Hall Primary rage

However, reports reaching The Gleaner are that parents of students attending Lime Hall Primary are upset that much-needed repairs to the school building were not carried out during the summer break.
Reports are that several parents converged on the campus on Monday morning to voice disapproval of the situation. Efforts to contact the principal for a comment were unsuccessful as The Gleaner was told he was in a meeting.
However, a spokesperson at the school confirmed that repairs that were expected to have been carried out during the summer holidays were not done.
Meanwhile, reports from Priory Primary and Junior High, St Ann's Bay Primary and Steer Town Primary and Junior High schools indicate that there have been smooth starts at these institutions.
At York Castle High, one of three secondary schools in Brown's Town, new principal Raymond Treasure said the facilities at the school were ready as repairs had started from June. He said the school now boasts brand-new bathroom facilities.
Treasure said the teachers were motivated and the student popu-lation is in high spirits.
