West Indies Test players Chris Gayle and Jerome Taylor will be on show when CJ Sporting Goods Company and its official brand name Helium, in partnership with Digicel, launches the first-ever Pro Fifteen15 extravaganza at the Uprising Sports Club in St Elizabeth today at 10 a.m.

The teams will be stacked with first-class cricketers, both current and past, Test players, along with exciting new talents from South St Elizabeth.

Fifteen15 is fast, exciting and fun-filled.

Among the other Test players who will be on show are Xavier Marshall and Carlton Baugh Jr The teams include the Day Riders to be captained by Gayle; Saints Chargers with Tamar Lambert at the helm; and Pelican Chiefs with Taylor as their top player.

First for the Caribbean

It's the first time this format of the game will be played in the Caribbean. This event will be an annual one and it promises to be even more exciting in the coming years with the addition of overseas-based players.

This year, Bull Savannah Primary School from the surrounding area will benefit from sponsorship in sports gear from CJ Sporting Goods Company Ltd. The extravaganza will be held at the Port Rhodes Sports Club, formerly Kaiser Sports Club, in St Ann in 2010.
