Golfing elements

In the girls' 9-10 age group, Yanique Wilson got a score of 22 from Johanna Wilson, who scored a 27.

SuperClubs vice-president Suzanne McManus, along with Breezes general manager, Kenneth Minton, handed out certificates to all the participants.

The more than 30 participants were exposed to the theoretical and practical elements of golf during the two-week session.

Coach Karl Garrick, who has served the summer camp for several years, said he was able to identify youngsters from this year's camp who have the potential to become members of the national junior golf programme.

This year, several sponsors came on board to enable another successful summer camp, among them KFC, Juici Patties, National Meats, Soft Sheen, Jamaica Broilers and Johnny's Pharmacy.
