Khaddafi sentenced

THE MAN who was held with a firearm following a shooting incident at the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) annual conference last year was sentenced yesterday to five years imprisonment for illegal possession of firearm.
He is 27-year-old Khaddafi Gordon of Southside, Kingston.
Mr Justice Donald McIntosh sentenced Gordon yesterday after he pleaded guilty in the Gun Court.
Dave Lindsay of Central Village, St Catherine, was killed during the shooting incident at the National Arena.
After the shooting, the police saw Gordon fleeing from the National Arena.
He was held and a firearm taken from him.
