(2) If you lived in Sol de Caribbean in Spring Farm, you could wake up to this view every day.
(3) A five-bedroom house, in Spring Gardens, has a pool, two very large patios overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Montego Bay's coastline. It is set on 10 acres of land being developed by Clive Lee and Rainer Schellhas. The houses are no less than US$500,000 (approx J$45 million).

The home of the famed White Witch of Rose Hall, many traces of the islands Spanish heritage can be found in the parish of St James.

The amenities in the parish have made it a very desirable place to live. It is home to one of the island's major health facility, Cornwall Regional hospital, and it also houses one of the islands' two major airports; Sangster's International, which has made its capital Montego, Bay one of the island's tourist mecca.

Fastest growing real estate

With tourism fuelling the local economy, its real estate is one of the fastest growing in the island as people move into the parish for work and of course foreigners who decide to call the island home. To meet this demand new housing developments have sprung up all over the parish.

While communities such as Flankers are less than desirable, real estate because of the high crime rate, the Rose Hall community is in high demand. It is home to Ironshore, Spring Farm and some of the preferred communities.

St James is also home to two of the island's largest music festivals; Reggae Sumfest and Jamaica Jazz and Blues festival so you will be in the centre of the action.
