Bolt, Campbell-Brown lead the way

Triple Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt and two-time Olympic 200 metres champion Veronica Campbell-Brown head the 46 competitors who will travel to Berlin to represent Jamaica at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics set for August 15-23.
Bolt will be seeking to repeat the triple treat he delivered at Beijing Olympics almost a year ago. Campbell-Brown, the defending 100m champion, will also be hunting three titles, 100m, 200m and 4x100.
Among the World Championships newcomers named by the Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association are female sprinters Anniesha McLaughlin and Christine Day and jumper (long and triple) Kimberly Williams. Among the men the newcomers include 400m hurdler Josef Robertson, long jumpers Alain Bailey, Nicholas Gordon and Julian Reid; sprinter Yohan Blake and 400m runner Dane Hyatt.
