Rattray right re traffic hazards

The Editor, Sir:

I am in total support of Dr Garth Rattary's commentary in your Monday paper (July 13). Last week, in obedience of the traffic law, I stopped at the red light at the Mona Heights and Old Hope Road intersection.

I was told many four letter words by a taxi driver who was behind me. In his anger, he pulled out from behind me and came in front of me. Still abusing me, I told him that I do not break the law. He continued using the most obscene language and as soon as the light changed to green, a woman in the line behind me started pressing her car horn.

Doctor, please write as often as you feel it necessary. A news item in the print media some weeks ago spoke to cameras being placed at problem locations. How quickly can we have these? They are badly needed

I am, etc.,
