Tennis - Top seeds advance

Number one seeds Jordan Harris and Sicquena Sinclair booked their places in the boys' and girls' Under-18 quarter-finals in the Pan Caribbean Bank All Jamaica Junior Championships at the Eric Bell Centre yesterday.

Harris secured his spot with a 6-1, 7-6 victory Adam Henriquez while Sinclair received a bye to today's semis, this after her opponent failed to show.

In other quarter-final Under-18 singles match-ups, Carmarsh Crumbie will oppose Vincent Williams, third ranked Jahvair Mullings tackle Joseph Ross and fourth seeded Sheldon McIntosh await fifth-seeded Philip Bond.

In the Under-18 girls' semi-finals Sinclair will oppose Kalise Kelly and number three-ranked Shantal Blackwood face Analise Moseley.

In the boy's Under-16 quarter-finals Sheldon McIntosh tackle Alex Anderson, Simon Levy face Sean Vanwhervin, Oshane Trail awaits Andrew Bicknell, and Joseph Ross plays Daniel Harris.
