Support PSOJ on crime bills

The Editor, Sir:

One cannot help but agree with the Private Sector Organisation's stance on the lack of urgency with which the houses of Parliament are addressing the crime bills and view it as suspicious. In a state where criminality is rampant, acts of murder, extortion, rape, etc, can be purchased if the price is right, and collusion among evil men for their benefit is king, one cannot wonder why is it taking so long?

When will the foolishness of "man a fight ghetto youth" or "can't touch the big man" be done away with and action taken? Why is the average working man's life not even worth half of that of a murderer or criminal? Each life has a story, each one has a family, why should bureaucracy determine how important one's life is?

I am, etc.,
