TIVOLI GARDENS yesterday evening skipped past visiting Harbour View 2-0 in a masterful performance that took them a point ahead of the former leaders for second place in the Digicel Premier League.
Striker Navion Boyd sentenced Harbour View to their sixth match without a win, heading a square across the box for Jermaine Taylor to nod in at the 51st minute before returning to drill a goal of his own past Dwayne Miller in the 66th.

Harbour View were outplayed from the opening whistle, constantly under pressure from Tivoli and never a got a look at the homesters' goal until the 63rd minute when Jermaine Hue's free kick was almost deflected into goal by Kemeel Wolfe.
Tivoli dominated in a performance that coach Lenny Hyde said was meant to keep eight-point leaders Portmore United honest for the four remaining games in the fourth and final round of the Premiership.
"It's Boys' Town next," Hyde said after his team's fourth straight Premier League win.
"That's how we're dealing with it. The team has been playing well. We beat Boys' Town 4-0 after losing to them 3-0 in the Champions Cup and it was good momentum for this match."
For Tivoli to catch Portmore, the Railway men would have to win their next three and hope the defending champions lose three-in-a-row, which has not happened for the entire season.
Donovan Hayles, under who Harbour View infamously blew a 13-point lead and lost the Premier League to Waterhouse two seasons ago, was poker-faced after the match.
Harbour View, while joint leaders with Portmore a match before Hayles took over from Brazilian Waldemar De Oliveira, were 12 points ahead of then fourth-place Tivoli.
"We're still going to fight all the way through," said Hayles, lamen-ting the absence of four players - including the suspended pair of Richard Edwards and Dicoy Williams.
"We were quite depleted today but it's never over until it's over. We're up against it but we will fight all the way," he added.
