Jamaica Gleaner Let's Talk Life
published: Saturday | June 7, 2008

LET'S talk ... School failure
Dear Counsellor: My eight-year-old son is hyperactive, disruptive and aggressive at school. His teacher says that he lacks focus, is easily distracted and wastes time with the other children. The school is thinking of asking me to take him to another academic institution.

Healthy Lifestyle: Diet and arthritis

My grandmother, even without the signs of rain, could tell that showers loomed because of the pain she felt in her joints. There is no conclusive explanation for grandma's ability to forecast the weather, except that she was suffering from rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
