ANDREW WILDE of the London and Middlesex Rifle Club (LMRC) shot a combined score of 390.046 to capture the overall individual title at the West Indies Full Bore Shooting Council Championships at Twickenham Park range on Thursday.

Guyana's pair of Ransford Good-luck and Dylan Fields were second and third respectively with scores of 388.033 and 385.028.

The Jamaica duo of Jose Nunes (379.028) and Carl Smith (378.021) finished sixth and ninth.

Happy

"I am very happy with my performance," said Wilde. "The first day wasn't as good as the others because I was still learning the conditions on the range but I couldn't ask for better, I am really pleased," he said.

"The temperature was difficult and the wind was tricky at times," Wilde said.

"It was challenging but also good fun as well because of the hospitality. It's also a very steep learning curve for me," he said.

Michael Gill of Trinidad and Tobago won the O Class title with a score of 367.021, followed by Terence Stewart (352.018) of Guyana and Christopher Josephs of Antigua and Barbuda with 345.019.
