April Jackson is now set on successfully representing Jamaica at this year's Miss Universe pageant to be staged in Vietnam. She took over the reins from Zahra Redwood after being crowned on Sunday at the National Indoor Sports Centre. She is over $1 million richer and the owner of a brand-new BMW motor car.

Robert Jensch off to China

Having guided the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall safely over the last two years, Robert Jensch, the resort's former general manager, has taken flight, to Hong Kong, China, to take up residence in one of the chain's high-powered properties. And staff at the AAA Five-diamond Montego Bay resort would not allow him to depart any other way.
