Rose Hall Montego Bay came alive last Friday as Half Moon Hotel honoured some special people at their third annual ambassador awards gala.
Held at the hotel's conference centre, the resort played host to its travel industry, publishing, corporate and supplier partners who have contributed to its success over the year.
The top travel partners received platinum, gold, silver and bronze awards for generating a certain amount of revenue.
Among the eight platinum awardees generating more than US$350,000 included American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts, Classic Vacations, Expedia/Hotels.com. Those who received gold awards for generating between US$251,000-US$350,000 were Air Jamaica Vacations, Airtours, Astro Building Products, Caribtours - U.K., Ryan's Restaurant Group and Tzell Travel.
Among the 11 silver awardees were AAA Travel, Bayside Travel and Great Vacations Limited.
The Half Moon Founders' Award, which is given to partners who support, the Founding father's philosophy included Classic Vacations, Island Destinations, Tzell Travel.
Guests included Wykeham McNeill, Aloun Assamba, Audrey Marks, Mark and Betty McKenzie, Andres Belinksk, Stella Gray, Greg and Janice Christie, Bill and Robin Weiss and Rhonda and Julian Cresser.
