Letter of the Day - Use the Constitution
The Editor, Sir: The outcome of the hearing on dual citizenship could be detrimental to the political landscape of Jamaica. If the relevant section of the Constitution must now be reviewed and implemented, then it must be instituted as the law of the land and every measure taken to prevent it from happening again.

Great work, ministers!

The Editor, Sir: On Thursday, we had heavy rains that made the bridge at the foot of Jacks Hill impassable. I made a call and within a few minutes, Minister James Robertson and Speaker of the House Delroy Chuck, were on location to see what could be done.

Dawn's naivety

THE EDITOR, Sir: Please allow me through the medium of your paper to voice my opinion on an article by Dawn Ritch in The Sunday Gleaner entitled 'I blame Bruce'.

Good move to hire top cop

The Editor, Sir: I think the police officers in Jamaica are missing the point here, and as usual, dismissing the lessons history has taught us. The police force in Jamaica is corrupt from the top down and has always been a political entity rather than a 'true' law-enforcement body.
