Brittany Manor revived - Wood's Havendale development 80% complete
Christopher Wood's Brittany Manor, a gated community of about 50 two-bedroom middle-income townhouses on Watervale Avenue in upper Havendale, is back on the market and nearing completion, the developer said last week, having shaken off the controversy that prompted a cease order by local authorities two years ago.

Techology centre launches business advisory network

The Technology Innovation Centre (TIC), a unit of the University of Technology has launched a 'business advisory network' for start-ups that the TIC already hand-holds through infancy.

The justice system lottery

Question: The left rear door and fender of my station wagon was hit by another vehicle along the Palisadoes Road in December 2005. The driver was in the process of making a u-turn. My vehicle ended up in the sea on the other side of the road. My upper back, right knee and other parts of my body were injured.

DB&G to face disciplinary body on front-running allegations

The Conduct Review Committee of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) has set up a disciplinary committee chaired by Hilary Phillips, Q.C., to determine whether disciplinary proceedings should be instituted against stockbroker Dehring Bunting and Golding (DB&G) arising from allegations of front-running made by a client.
