The Editor, Sir: I am a proud Jamaican living in London and my eyes were filled with tears when I saw Sara Lawrence in the finals of Miss World 2006. The top 10. The final six. She is black and she stood out, she was magnificent.

The Editor, Sir: I am truly amazed at the replies and the proposed solutions by the Minister of Health and his Permanent Secretary (PS) to the recent disclosures of the abominable state of affairs at the Victoria Jubilee hospital.
