LAST SATURDAY night saw members of the American Women's Group (AWG) converging in the gardens of the Stony Hill residence of Guardsman's Kenny Benjamin for 'An Evening in Paradise'.
IF THERE were any doubts that hotelier Michelle Hussey intended to celebrate the dawning of her 50th year in haute style and with the passion known only to Roman nobility, then those doubts should have been dispelled by the time the invitations went out.
DESPITE THE rain, there was the customary heavy turnout of mostly women at Thursday's Jamaica Cancer Society's Keeping Abreast luncheon. It was held at the Hilton Kingston Hotel.
