Launch of Calabash Int'l Literary Festival

A HIGH point of the literary calendar in Jamaica this year, the Calabash International Literary Festival, will be launched on Wednesday, May 16, with the reading and performances by leading Jamaican writers at Red Bones Cafe, Braemar Avenue, Kingston.

Rap single for June release

'FREAKY TYPE', one of several new rap singles to appear on the local hip hop scene in recent times, is to be released on Thursday, June 7 by the Kingston-based Mixing Lab. The production is the first release of rap artistes G-Furnace and Assas'IN.
