The opposite of life is death

The Editor, Sir: Thank you for the role you are playing in keeping the abortion debate in the public arena. I respectfully take issue with the cartoon published on 07/02/07 which in my opinion is not fair commentary on the position of the church.


Justice has gone awry

The Editor, Sir: It appears to me that the justice system has gone awry and Jamaica has completely abrogated its responsibilities to its citizens.


Kgn not ready for residents

The Editor, Sir: I am tired to hear the moaning of the mayor about Kingston not being ready for Cricket World Cup, but is Kingston ready for its citizens who live and work in the capital?


Beating of children

The Editor, Sir: The picture that glared at me from the television was not fiction. A man was beating two children, forcing them to become human barricades on the busy Red Hills Road corridor of St. Andrew.
