Holmwood Technical will face St Hugh's High in today's final of the Inter-secondary School Association (ISSA)/Digicel all-island Under-19 netball competition at Clarendon Park, starting at 3 p.m.
Holmwood Technical will go in search of the double when they face Queen's in the Under-16 final at 2 p.m.
Manchester's Holmwood, who are aiming to secure their fifth consecutive hold on the all-island trophy, booked their spot in the finals by defeating Manchester High in the rural area competition.
Carline Graham, coach of the Holmwood, is very optimistic.
"We are extremely confident because these girls know how to win and this is also the same team that won last year's competition," said Graham.
"It is going to be a good game, but I expect my team to come out on top based on our experience," she said.
Holmwood will rest their hopes in the hands of national Under-16 players Deneen Taylor and Vangelee Williams.
Their place
Meanwhile, St Hugh's secured their place in the all-island final by defeating St Andrew in the urban area final.
Phillip St. Marie, coach of St Hugh's, is expecting a tough game.
"Our opponents are a very good team because they have a lot of athletic players who can run at you for the entire 40 minutes of the game," said St Marie.
"We have to make sure we keep our concentration from start to finish and make sure that we minimise our turnovers."
She added: "The team is very confident because our preparations have been going well after winning the urban area final and they are rea7dy and raring go."
St Hugh's will be relying heavily of the likes of national Under-16 invitee and goalkeeper, Azeza McCarty, goal attack Devene Brown, goal defence Kerry Edwards and wing attack Kaysia Brown.
