Floyd Graham, a Jamaican architect and urban planner, has just released a book titled LIGHTNING FAST! - Jamaica's Stars at the Beijing Olympics.

The book is a treasure trove of worthwhile information on the Jamaican Olympians as well as their competitors. The book provides historical data on the Jamaican track and field Olympians in terms of their performances throughout their international careers. The final race of each Jamaican finalist in Beijing is colourfully described to make the reader feel that they he had a front-row seat in the 'Bird's Nest'.

Besides highlighting the stellar performances of the Jamaican athletes, the book mentions the accomplishments of a few of the many Jamaicans who have made their mark on the world. Many readers will be surprised at some of the information revealed to the extent that many will say, "I did not know that!"

This book definitely will be a treasured asset in anyone's library - whether he's a sports aficionado or not. It certainly will make every Jamaican proud! Books may be purchased at www.lightningfastjamaicans.com, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and many retail outlets.
