Just like mustard vs ketchup on a hotdog or a scary movie vs a comedy in the theatre, in the world of technology, everyone has their own favourite gadget that perfectly suits their style, needs and wants. With so many tech devices on the market and with the increased resource availability the Internet provides, how is a consumer to choose what gizmo is right for them? Techno tease asks an avid gadget lover ... what keeps you connected?

(Techno tease) What'syour favourite gadget?

(Stacey-Ann Barton) "My digital camera. It's a Sony Cybershot Model DSC-W120."

When did you get it?

"I treated myself to it in January 2009 ... it was about US$130.00"

Where did you buy it?

"I bought it at a Walmart chain in Fort Lauderdale."

What makes it your favourite gadget?

"I love taking pictures and being able to capture every little moment so I can have a memory for the future - that's really important to me. During the period when I didn't have a camera I felt like I missed out on some key moments."

What are its special features?

"My camera has this really interesting feature called a 'smile shutter'. It literally will not take a picture of a subject unless it's smiling ... it's pretty funny."

How would you improve your gadget?

"My Cybershot only offers 7.2 megapixels, that's really good, but bigger is better."

Why Sony?

"I actually did a bit of research before I bought my camera and it seemed like the best option for me. I had a Kodak before and I felt like Sony would give me a better bank for my buck."

How often do you use it?

"It's always in my bag so I use it pretty much every day or every opportunity I get to snap something intriguing."
