Weird news - Hamburger assault

Published: Tuesday | October 20, 2009

A Welsh man was arrested over the criminal damage of two burgers.

Stephen Morgan, 31, was preparing for a night in front of the TV when he was arrested and taken to his nearby police station after allegedly damaging fast food - valued at £5.

The trouble began when Morgan ordered his family a take-away supper from their local pizza parlour.

However, the order arrived without the two burgers he had asked for.

Morgan claims he agreed to wait for the two tasty treats to be sent back to his home once the mistake had been rectified.

But when a delivery man arrived later, a dispute occurred and £15 compensation was paid out.

Later that evening, Morgan was arrested on suspicion of robbery, held in a police cell overnight and has since been charged with causing criminal damage to the two burgers.
