Annotto Bay High School made it five wins from five starts in Zone K of the 2009 ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup yesterday afternoon, when goals from Oshane Dunkley (2), Kenrick Williams (2), Michael Cousens, Lamay Walker, Rudolf Higgins and Christopher Forrester gave them an 8-2 win over Iona.

Over in Zone A, many-time champions Cornwall were made to fight all the way to extend their winning streak to four games - a hard-fought 4-3 win against Spot Valley at Jarrett Park. The win moves them to joint first place in the group on 12 points with champions St James High, who were inactive.

In another Zone A game, Muschett, which went into their game against Green Pond in third place, suffered a setback when they lost 1-2. Javion Bailey got both goals for Green Pond, while goalkeeper Odean Clarke (penalty) got Muschett's lone goal.

The competition will continue this afternoon with action in eight of the 12 zones.
