Chuck chimes in - North East St Andrew MP looks back at his last two years in the constituency

Chuck
In the constituency of North East St Andrew, over $1 billion has been spent during the past two years. Thanks to Mike Henry and the National Works Agency, 70 per cent of the gullies have been repaired and strengthened.
Several roads have been beautifully paved with the cooperation of and to the satisfaction of residents and motorists:
Liguanea Avenue
Millsborough Crescent
Graham Heights and surrounding roads
Plymouth Avenue
Roseberry Drive
Grants Pen Drive
Edward Lane
Castle Heights
Persimmon Avenue
Bracknell Avenue
Wilmington Road
Many others have been patched and repaired. Still, many residential roads are in urgent need of resurfacing and, hopefully, will be done soon.
Most of the remaining zinc fences have been removed from the main thoroughfares through the inner cities and replaced with concrete walls. Sidewalks have been built on Barbican Road, East Kings House Road and Jacks Hill to cater to the thousands of pedestrians who use these roads daily. Numerous small projects were completed in the inner cities.
A first-class four-lane bridge is currently being constructed on Waterloo Avenue and the road from West Kings House Avenue will be widened to provide for four lanes of traffic. The hitherto dangerous bridge on Grants Pen Road was replaced and, hopefully, will now be passable during heavy rains.
Thousands of schoolchildren, teachers, artisans, carpenters, masons, labourers, the sick, the elderly and others have been assisted directly through the Constituency Development Fund and are grateful for its existence.
North East St Andrew has a lot to be thankful for and is proud of its many achievements over the past two years and more.
