FLAIR COUPLE - Celebration of love

Published: Monday | August 24, 2009

A wedding is still one of the most beautiful gatherings for friends and family, and it is even better when the bride arrives on time to avoid anxiety.

On Saturday, July 18, Keneisha Marie Clarke arrived 15 minutes short of her scheduled arrival time for her wedding ceremony while Frederick Charue waited for her at the altar at St Margaret's Church, St Andrew.

The bride wore a strapless, satin gown with pick-ups from David's Bridal, while the groom was dressed in a black tuxedo enhanced by Rio Maize vest and tie. The maid of honour and bridesmaids wore apple red, and the groomsmen, black with matching apple-red vests.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by Canon Ralston Smith.

The couple met in January 2004 while they were on their lunch break. Keneisha recalls that she thought Frederick was too cute to befriend. Her initial perceptions changed and their friendship blossomed into love and appreciation for one another. Frederick remembers her pleasant smile and how she was easy to talk to. Keneisha was captivated by his adventurous nature. She still likes accompanying him to Dover, Jam West and on long nature trips to explore new things.

The Reception

The theme of their wedding was garden grace, as both love the outdoors. The reception was held in the breathtaking Eden Garden, Lady Musgrave Road in St Andrew.
