What do you think are Jamaica's chances of winning the 4x100m men's relay without Asafa Powell?
Beverly Daley, fruit vendor:
I think we'll do great because Jamaica has some talented runners who can run in Asafa's place. When they realise that Asafa is injured and we need the help, they will work hard to get a win. Bolt will do it for us but him need good backup.
Wilson Hendricks, farmer:
I think we can't do it without Asafa. All our good athletes are needed in the race but I think them can still do well.Asafa is needed, wi cyaah lef him out 'cause Bolt just come. Him and Bolt work good together.
Jeffery Henry, student:
I don't think it will be the same without him even though they have other athletes who might be able to run in his place. Their chances of winning are a lot less without Asafa because America has a very good relay team even without the likes of Tyson Gay.
Leonard Daley, farmer:
We still have a great chance without Asafa, man. Anybody who put in the race with Bolt, a coulda even me who cyaah run, Bolt can win it fi wi.
Sanjay Little, farmer:
It doesn't matter because Bolt alone can win the race for us. We, however, won't get the world record but we will still win.
Santana Williams, upholsterer:
They still have a good chance because their only competition will be the USA, and with Tyson Gay pulling out, we still can beat them.
