JFF Women's League
The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF)/ Sherwin Williams Women's League continues today with a full slate of matches.
In the day's feature game in Zone A, defending champions Barbican oppose Maverley/ Hughenden at Maverley, Arnett Gardens host Trelawny Women at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex and Constant Spring await former champions Portmore Strikers at Barbican.
In Zone B, Reno entertain Waterhouse at Brancourt, Olympic Gardens oppose Meadhaven United at Cling Cling Oval and Santos battle Harbour View at Bell Cung Oval.
All matches start at 4 p.m.
Results from Sunday's matches, Barbican edged Harbour View 1-0, Constant Spring and Meadhaven United played to an exciting 3-3 draw, Portmore Strikers and Waterhouse played to a 1-1 draw, Maverley/Hughenden defeated Olympic Gardens 3-0, Reno whipped Arnett Gardens 4-1, and Trelawny Women edged Santos.
All-island Challenge Cup
Clarendon defeated Portland 3-1 in the JFF All-Island Under-15 football Challenge Cup competition on Sunday at the York Town Oval.
In the day's other games, St Andrew stopped St James 1-0, Kingston beat Trelawny 2-1 and St Catherine whipped St Thomas 3-1.
In the Under-13 competition, St Andrew stopped Westmoreland 3-0, Clarendon thrashed St Ann 9-1, St James and Kingston played to a 1-1 draw and St Catherine and Portland played to a 0-0 draw.
