Water, water, water

Unknown to a lot of people, alcohol actually makes you dehydrated. So drinking too much over a short period of time without good ol' 'crystal punch' isn't wise.

You're not omnipresent

You don't have to be at all the parties; miss a couple and get some rest.

You're not the security guard

You don't have to be there from start to finish. A few hours at each is enough.

Snooze

When you're not 'getting on bad', use the extra time to catch some sleep.

Lay off the energy drinks

Some people swear by them but the crash after the 'sugar high' ain't much fun.

Power alternatives

Five-hour energy tablets seem to be perfectly safe to give you a boost.

Eat

Make sure you've got a full or close-to-full stomach. All that drinking and only eating stuff like banana chips won't meet your energy needs or coat the stomach for the liquor.

on the flip side ...

Don't overeat

If you're going to be dancing and all that, a too-full stomach will make you queasy. Queasiness can cause you to throw up and not only does that drain you, it's just not fun!

Keep it close

If possible, try to attend parties within close proximity to each other, cutting down on your travel time.

Phone/text

Stay off the cellphone and do not text while driving; get the hands-free set in the car. And with your drinking practices, remember the saying, 'Beer before liquor (rum etc.), never sicker. Liquor before beer, you're in the clear'.
