Foster-Hylton, Jamaica's national 100m hurdles record holder since 2003, is arguably the country's best sprint hurdler. The consistent Foster-Hylton, has ran 53 legal races under 12.70. However, injuries in the past three seasons have hampered her preparation for major meets. Foster-Hylton, who opened her season with a 13.11 second-place run in Melbourne, Australia, in March did not run again until June 7 at the Prefontaine meet in Eugene. Her season best, 12.64, was registered in Lausanne, Switzerland, on July 7.
